Harper Sister-in-Law, Mary and Dave

There is an English tour planned for May/June 2012. This is coming about because we’ve agreed to our 1st and only wedding for Colin’s sister, Mary and her feller Dave in Melton Mowbray at the end of May. Because we are stupid we are doing it for free, so we have to find other poorly paid gigs to cover the cost. If you can be any help, i.e. know of a venue call us. Other than that, keep an eye on the pages for more details.

To follow we have photos, videos and tracks from our albums and live shows. Take a look and hopefully we will see you at a gig soon.

Thanks

Torchy Harper

first date for the tour other than the wedding is sat the 26th may at the generous britton pub in melton! landlord was massivly excited to have us play unlike the old lady at the noles arms who frankly was very backward and rude! come down all you meltonians and those who are in the area, will be great fun and very messy!

Excellent stuff Colbo – sorry about the slight delay, I have to approve the first comment to keep the spammers away.

We would love to play Gloucester Guildhall – I think Ash has asked (he’s a Gloucester bloke himself), but it’s a no go. Can you pull any strings?

That would be brill Chris, it might be worth mentioning ‘Ash Strain’ from the legendary Gloucester band ‘Strain’ from the 90s – mate of EMF and all that…unfortunately the only dates we have for the SW are the 27-30th May. Actually to be honest any old pub, cricket club, scout hut or whatever would be alright. We probably need about £150 for expenses. Thanks for trying anyway mate :)
